Disaster Response & Recovery
ATL began their major hurricane work in the aftermath of hurricane Andrew in 1992. Since then, ATL has been a major part of hurricane relief efforts for nearly all of the major storms including Katrina, Charley, Frances, Jeanne, Ian, and Irma. In more recent events, ATL lead one of the nation’s largest hurricane debris processing efforts in Miami-Dade County, processing several million yards of debris from hurricane Irma. When hurricane Ian devastated Florida’s west coast, ATL was charged with leading the cleanup, managing debris processing, and disposal of the related storm debris. With a combined team hurricane debris experience of over 100 years and a large fleet of owned heavy equipment, ATL is ready to tackle any debris collection efforts thrown their way.
Marine & Environmental
Outside of hurricane season, marine & environmental work is ATL’s expertise. ATL has developed proprietary methods for unique approaches to marine and environmental projects. With their own fleet of barges, push boats, tugs, and unique equipment, ATL is able to get in and perform where other contractors are unable to. Whether you need dredge work, canal remediation, island building, habitat establishment, or any other marine related work done, ATL has what it needs to complete the work to the high standards our customers expect.
